Abstract

V diplomski nalogi smo obravnavali motivacijo za izobraževanje poklicnih gasilcev Gasilske brigade Maribor. Izobraževanje poklicnih gasilcev je ključno za uspešno delovanje. Spreminjajoči se scenariji nesreč zahtevajo ažurno znanje in prilagajanje novim tehnikam. S tem gasilci ohranjajo visoko stopnjo učinkovitosti, izboljšujejo varnost ter zagotavljajo zaščito. Diplomska naloga je sestavljena iz dveh delov. V prvem, teoretičnem delu diplomske naloge smo s pomočjo navedene literature razložili in opisali koncept motivacije, motivov, motivacijskih dejavnikov in teorij motivacije. Pojasnili smo tudi, kaj pomeni izobraževanje ter preučili različne vrste izobraževanja, predstavili smo izobraževalno dejavnost v organizaciji ter ovire pri izobraževanju. Predstavili smo Gasilsko brigado Maribor, njeno organiziranost in zgodovino. V empiričnem delu smo izvedli anketo, s katero smo preučevali dejavnike, ki vplivajo na motivacijo za izobraževanje. Prav tako smo ugotavljali morebitne ovire, s katerimi se srečujejo poklicni gasilci pri svojem izobraževanju. Poleg tega smo raziskali njihove preference glede izvedbe izobraževanj, kot so čas izvedbe, vrsta izobraževanja, pa tudi morebitne spremembe, ki bi jih želeli videti v procesu izobraževanja.

Secondary abstract: In the thesis, we have addressed the motivation for educating the professional firefighters of the Maribor Brigade. Educating the professional firefighters is crucial for successful operations. Evolving accident scenarios demand up-to-date knowledge and adaptation to new techniques. Through this, firefighters maintain a high level of efficiency, enhance safety, and provide protection. The thesis consists of two parts. In the first, theoretical section of the thesis, we have explained and described the concept of motivation, motives, motivational factors, and theories of motivation using the provided literature. We have also elucidated the meaning of education and examined various types of education. We presented the educational activities within the organization and the obstacles encountered in education. Furthermore, we introduced the Maribor Fire Brigade, its organization, and history. In the empirical section, we conducted a survey to examine the factors influencing the motivation for education. We also identified potential obstacles faced by professional firefighters in their education. Additionally, we explored their preferences regarding the execution of educational programs, such as timing, type of education, as well as any changes they would like to see in the education process.
