Abstract

Družba je vse bolj odvisna od mobilnih naprav. Mobilne aplikacije nam lajšajo življenje na vseh področjih. To so komunikacija, zbiranje informacij, planiranje, družabno življenje, razvedrilo, zajemanje in obdelava slik ipd. Z neprestanim razvojem vplivajo na vse večji del našega življenja. Mobilni telefon je naš stalni spremljevalec in aplikacije so nam vedno pri roki. Začele so izpodrivati in nadomeščati vsakodnevne funkcionalne elemente, kot recimo ure, knjige, časopise, igrače, računalnike, televizorje, daljinske upravljalnike ipd. V ta namen smo se odločili nadgraditi daljinsko vodenje robotskega pajka s PlayStation krmilnikom. Fizični objekt bo zamenjala aplikacija. Omogočala bo enostavnejšo prenosljivost kompleta in upravljanje pajka, ko daljinski upravljalnik ne bo na voljo. V delu bomo predstavili eno izmed možnosti izdelave enostavne in kompaktne mobilne aplikacije za platformo Android na relativno hiter način. Uporabili bomo kombinacijo jezikov QML, JavaScript in C++ v programskem okolju Qt Creator. Aplikacija bo imitirala do sedaj uporabljan daljinski krmilnik igralne konzole PlayStaiton. Z robotskim pajkom se bo povezala preko Bluetooth povezave.

Secondary title: Development of an Android application for remote control of a hexapod robot
Secondary abstract: Society is increasingly dependent on mobile devices. Mobile applications make our lives easier in all areas. These are communication, information gathering, planning, social life, entertainment, image capture and processing, etc. They are an evergrowing part of our lives as we continuously improve them. The mobile phone is our constant companion and apps are always at our fingertips. They began to displace and replace everyday functional elements such as clocks, books, newspapers, toys, computers, televisions, remote controls, etc. To this end, we have decided to upgrade the remote control of the robotic spider with a PlayStation controller. The physical object will be replaced by an application. This will allow easier portability of the kit and control of the crawler when the remote control is not available. In the work, we will present one of the possibilities of creating a simple and compact mobile application for the Android platform in a relatively fast way. We will use a combination of QML, JavaScript and C++ languages in the Qt Creator software environment. The application will imitate the previously used remote control of the PlayStation gaming console. It will connect to the robotic spider via a Bluetooth connection.
