Abstract

V diplomskem delu obravnavam učenje in poučevanje tujega jezika v otroštvu. V teoretičnem delu diplomskega dela predstavim strokovne podlage in razloge za učenje in poučevanje tujih jezikov v otroštvu, izpostavim izobraževanje učiteljev razrednega pouka za učenje tujega jezika v Sloveniji in opišemo vlogo maternega jezika pri poučevanju in učenju tujega jezika. V diplomskem delu predstavim, kako se s poučevanjem in učenjem tujih jezikov v otroštvu spopadajo v Evropi in ponekod po svetu. Osrednja tema diplomskega dela se nanaša na mnenje vodstvenih delavcev o poučevanju tujega jezika v otroštvu iz izvedene ankete, zasnovane na vzorcu 42 vodstvenih delavcev iz celotne Slovenije.

Secondary abstract: My diploma work addresses the learning and teaching a foreign language in childhood. Theoretical part encompasses the professional basis and arguments for learning and teaching a foreign language in childhood, the description of the training of teachers in the first triad for early foreign language teaching in Slovenia, and the role of mother tongue in foreign language teaching and learning. The study shows how Europe and some other countries cope with early foreign language teaching and learning. The focus of my diploma work is on the opinion of school leaders on the teaching of foreign languages to young children, thus the survey was designed and executed on the sample of 42 respondents - school leaders from the entire Slovenia.
