Abstract
V diplomski nalogi z naslovom Razumevanje izbranih pregovorov pri 5 in 6 let starih otrocih, smo v začetnih poglavjih, ki zajemajo teoretični del naloge podrobneje predstavili frazeologijo in paremiologijo. Predstavili smo pregovore, njihove značilnosti, kako so jih obravnavali skozi različna časovna obdobja. Prav tako smo se dotaknili razvoja otroškega govora, mišljenja in otroškega dojemanja pregovorov. Naš namen empiričnega dela naloge je bil ugotoviti, ali otroci, starosti 5 in 6 let, razumejo pregovore dobesedno ali v prenesenem pomenu in ali znajo povezati pomen pregovora z ustrezno sliko. Podatke smo za vsakega otroka zbirali enkrat, za kar smo potrebovali 4 dni. Podatke smo zbirali s kvalitativno tehniko. V empiričnem delu naloge smo si zastavili 3 raziskovalna vprašanja in 2 hipotezi, ki smo ju v sklepu potrdili oziroma ovrgli. Raziskava je pokazala, da otroci pregovore razumejo in razlagajo dobesedno in da znajo povezati pregovor z ustrezno sliko, ki uprizarja pomen pregovora.

Secondary abstract: |
The starting theoretical chapters of the thesis, titled Comprehension of select proverbs in five- and six-year-old children, contain the presentation of phraseology and paremiology. The thesis presents the proverbs, their characteristics and how they were studied in time. The thesis touches on development of child speech and thinking, and the children's understanding of proverbs. The purpose of the empirical part of the thesis was to discover if children aged 5 and 6 understand the proverbs literally or figuratively and if they can connect the meaning of the proverb with the corresponding image. The data for each child was collected once and the data collection process lasted 4 days. The data was gathered using qualitative data collection technique. The empirical part of the thesis uses 3 research questions and 2 hypotheses, which have been confirmed or rejected in the conclusive part of the thesis. The research has shown that children understand and explain proverbs literally and that they can connect the proverbs to the corresponding image, showing the meaning of the proverb. |
