Abstract

Diplomsko delo z naslovom Sonaravno življenje učencev četrtega in petega razreda OŠ Gorišnica je razdeljeno na dva dela: teoretični in empirični del. V prvem, teoretičnem delu smo predstavili ekologijo in njene dejavnosti, ekološko ozaveščenost ter odgovornost, globalno stanje okolja, s poudarkom na stanju okolja v Sloveniji, ter pomen okoljske vzgoje v osnovni šoli. Analizirali smo splošne cilje okoljske vzgoje v drugem vzgojnem izobraževalnem obdobju ter pri predmetu naravoslovja in tehnike. Podrobneje smo pregledali Nacionalni učni načrt za pouk naravoslovja in tehnike v četrtem in petem razredu, s stališča okoljske vzgoje. V drugem delu diplomskega dela, empiričnem delu, predstavljamo rezultate, podrobnejšo analizo in ugotovitve empirične raziskave, v kateri so sodelovali učenci OŠ Gorišnica. Z empirično raziskavo smo želeli identificirati okoljsko ozaveščenost učencev četrtega in petega razreda OŠ Gorišnica. Zanimalo nas je tudi, v koliki meri na njihovo znanje, okoljsko ozaveščenost ter dejavnosti v naravi, vplivajo spol, razred šolanja ter lokacija bivališča. Pridobljena empirična spoznanja razkrivajo, da so anketirani učenci OŠ Gorišnica relativno dobro okoljsko ozaveščeni.

Secondary abstract: The thesis entitled Sustainable Life of pupils of the fourth and fifth grade of the primary school Gorišnica is divided into two parts, theoretical and empirical one. In the first part of the thesis, the theoretical part, the ecology and its operations, the environmental awareness and responsibility, the global state of the environment with emphasis on the state of the environment in Slovenia, and the importance of environmental education in primary schools, is presented. Analyzed were general objectives of environmental education in the second educational period and within the subject of science and technology. The national curriculum for science and technology in the fourth and fifth grade, from the standpoint of environmental education, was reviewed in detail. In the second part of the thesis, the empirical part, results are presented as well as a detailed analysis and findings of the empirical research in which pupils of the primary school Gorišnica took part. The empirical study tried to identify the environmental awareness of pupils of the fourth and fifth grade of the primary school Gorišnica. One was interested in finding out whether and to which extent their knowledge, environmental awareness and outdoor activities have been influenced by gender, school grade, and location of residence. The obtained empirical findings revealed that the surveyed pupils of the primary school Gorišnica have a relatively good environmental awareness.
