Abstract

V diplomskem delu sem raziskovala, kako pogosto je vključevanje knjige kot terapevtskega sredstva v vrtcu. V teoretičnem delu sem opisala razvoj otroka in se podrobneje osredotočila na otrokov čustveni in osebnostno-socialni razvoj. Izpostavila sem pomen knjige pri otroku, nato pa sem podrobneje opisala termin biblioterapija. Opisala sem cilje, učinke in vrste biblioterapije ter predstavila nekaj raziskav na tem področju. Podrobneje sem opisala biblioterapevtski proces in potek izvajanja biblioterapije. Izpostavila sem pomen izbora gradiva ter se pri tem osredotočila na pravljice in njihov vpliv na otroka. Na koncu sem predstavila, kako pomembno je izvajanje biblioterapije v vrtcu. Cilj diplomskega dela je bil ugotoviti, kako pogosto vzgojitelji uporabijo knjigo kot sredstvo za reševanje konfliktov ali spoznavanje tabu teme. To sem ugotovila s pomočjo anketnega vprašalnika, sestavljenega iz 20 vprašanj odprtega in zaprtega tipa. Izsledke sem predstavila in interpretirala v empiričnem delu. V raziskavi je sodelovalo 60 vzgojiteljev in pomočnikov vzgojitelja iz vrtcev v Sloveniji. Z anketnim vprašalnikom sem ugotovila, da večina anketiranih vzgojiteljev uporablja knjigo kot terapevtsko sredstvo, medtem ko je proces biblioterapije izvajalo zelo malo anketiranih vzgojiteljev.

Secondary abstract: In my diploma thesis, I researched how often books are used as a therapeutic tool in kindergartens. In the theoretical part, I described child development and focused on emotional and personality-social development. I emphasized the importance of books to children and described the term bibliotherapy. I described the goals, effects and types of bibliotherapy and presented some research in this area. I described the bibliotherapeutic process and the implementation of bibliotherapy. I emphasized the importance of material selection, focusing on fairy tales and their impact on children. Finally, I presented how important it is to implement bibliotherapy in kindergartens. The goal of the diploma thesis was to determine how often educators use books as a means of resolving conflicts or addressing taboo topics. I discovered this through a questionnaire consisting of 20 open-ended and closed-ended questions, the data of wich I presented and interpreted in the empirical part. The study included 60 kindergarten teachers and assistants from kindergartens in Slovenia. Through the questionnaire, I found out that most of the surveyed teachers use books as a therapeutic tool, while very few of them implement the bibliotherapeutic process.
