Abstract
Besedilo predstavi raznovrstne primere rabe jezika v sodobni umetniški likovni proizvodnji tandema Aleš Šteger in Dušan Fišer, Janeza Bernika, Zore Stančič, Marjetice Potrč, Alenke Pirman, Damijana Kračine, Vuka Ćosića in Jake Železnikarja.

The use of language in contemporary Slovene visual arts has fewer experimental aspirations than it had in the period of the OHO group style of conceptual art in the Sixties, and is more focused on the manipulation of genres, forms of book printing and the invention of new typographies; it also tries to challenge Slovene national identity with the deconstruction of linguistics and its institutions. Different approaches to the use of language in contemporary art are examined, including the tandem Aleš Šteger and Dušan Fišer, as well as Janez Bernik, Zora Stančič, Marjetica Potrč, Alenka Pirman, Damijan Kracina, Vuk Čosić and Jaka Železnikar. |
