Abstract

Pametna knjižnica je nov model knjižnice 21. stoletja. V diplomski nalogi smo jo na podlagi pregleda literature poskusili opisati in določiti njene temeljne sestavine ter prepoznati njen pomen v sodobni družbi. Temelj pametne knjižnice so prebojne tehnologije, kot so umetna inteligenca, robotika, internet stvari in obogatena ter navidezna resničnost, vendar pa mora pametna knjižnica vključevati še nekatere druge ključne elemente, ki se nanašajo na storitve, knjižničarje in uporabnike ter prostor in okolje. V zadnjem delu naloge smo prikazali primere integracije modernih tehnologij v slovenskih splošnih knjižnicah.

Secondary abstract:	A smart library is the new library model for the 21st century. In this thesis, based on a review of the literature, we have tried to describe it, to identify its basic components and to identify its relevance in modern society. The foundation of the smart library is based on disruptive technologies such as artificial intelligence, robotics, the Internet of Things, and augmented and virtual reality, but the smart library must also include some other key elements relating to services, librarians and users, and space and environment. In the last part of the thesis, we show examples of the integration of modern technologies in Slovenian public libraries.
