| Secondary abstract: | The article presents an overview of legal regulations in the Republic of Slovenia that include a formal request for comprehensibility, and poses certain relevant questions. Two aspects of comprehensibility are considered: the choice of language and the selection of the linguistic resources used to formulate a text. From a language policy point of view, the demand for comprehensibility is necessary to ensure that public communications are accessible to the largest possible number of stakeholders. |
