Anglicizmi v češčini in slovenščini

Abstract

Diplomsko delo se osredotoča na besede, prevzete iz angleščine v češčino - anglicizme, ter prevzemanje v češčino primerja s prevzemanjem v slovenščino. Jeziki v kontaktu od nekdaj vplivajo eden na drugega, v zadnjih desetletjih se z razvojem tehnologije in spleta vedno bolj širi vpliv angleščine. V diplomskem delu so našteti in opisani različni principi prevzemanja besed s fonološkega vidika, med katerimi je transfonemizacija najpogostejša. Opisana je tudi transfonemizacija posameznih angleških glasov pri prevzemu v češčino in slovenščino in problematika ustvarjanja slovarskih sestavkov - slovaropisci so vedno soočeni z odločitvijo, kako predstaviti prevzete besede in kako v sinhronih slovarjih označiti, da je beseda še v procesu prevzemanja, hkrati pa odražati resnično trenutno stanje jezika. V koncu teoretičnega dela naloga razloži tudi odnos jezikoslovcev in javnosti do anglicizmov v češčini in slovenščini, kaj je sprejemljivo in česa se je dobro izogibati. V analitičnem delu avtorica analizira vzorec anglicizmov iz češkega slovarja tujk (Akademický slovník cizích slov) in besede primerja z ustreznicami, ki se nahajajo v različnih slovenskih slovarjih (če je te bilo mogoče najti). Besede so primerjane glede na stopnjo prevzetosti (kako podomačena sta njihova zapis in izgovorjava) in razvrščene glede na razlike po kategorijah zapis, izgovorjava in pomen.

Secondary abstract:	The undergraduate thesis focuses on words borrowed from English into the Czech language - Anglicisms, and compares borrowing words into Czech with borrowing into Slovenian. Languages in contact have always influenced each other, and in recent decades, with the development of technology and the internet, the influence of English has become more and more noticeable. The thesis lists and describes various principles of adopting foreign words from the phonological point of view, of which transphonemization is the most common. The thesis also describes the transphonemization of individual English phonemes in Czech and Slovenian, as well as the problem of creating dictionary entries - lexicographers are always faced with the decision of how to present borrowed words and how to, in synchronous dictionaries, indicate that a word is still in the process of adoption, while at the same time reflecting the realistic current state of the language. At the end of the theoretical part of the thesis, the attitude of linguists, as well as the public, towards Anglicisms in Czech and Slovenian is explained, what borrowings are acceptable and what should be avoided. In the analytical part, the author analyzes a sample of Anglicisms from a Czech dictionary of foreign words (Akademický slovník cizích slov), and compares the words with equivalents found in any of the Slovenian dictionaries (if equivalents could be found). The words are compared according to the degree to which they are borrowed (how much their spelling and pronunciation are adapted to the target language) and sorted by the differences in the categories of spelling, pronunciation, and meaning.
