magistrsko delo

Abstract

Secondary language: English
Secondary title: The change of radio as a spoken medium and the selection and listenership of radio stations (on the example of Vala 202, Radio Hit and Radio Celje)
Secondary abstract: In my master's thesis, I dealt with the impact of the radio host's speech on the choice and the audience of the radio station. I was wondering if using a lot of slang, for example, can even lead to the listener changing the radio station. I chose three radio stations to study, Val 202, which is a public service, Radio Hit, which is a commercial radio station, and Radio Celje, which is a regional radio station. To be able to confirm or disapprove my hypotheses, I helped myself with a survey that I shared with my Facebook friends and with the interviews that I sent to three selected radio stations. With the survey I also researched what the respondents listen to in addition to the radio and was finding out if the popularity of radio has really been declining in the past few years.
