Abstract

Izdelava samostojne video igre z omejenimi sredstvi ali tako imenovane »Indie game« (ang. independent video game) zahteva od programerja zelo širok nabor znanja, katerega mora združiti v celoto. Kadar gre za programerjev prvi projekt, predstavlja izziv že to, kje začeti in katero programsko opremo uporabiti ter kako različne elemente združiti v celoto. Pri tem je potrebno upoštevati dejstvo, da je cilj projekt izpeljati in izvajati brez stroškov ter v uporabniku prijaznih programskih okoljih, kjer delo in navodila ne bodo zahtevna. Za dosego zadanega cilja bomo s to diplomo uporabili znana brezplačna orodja, ki jih bomo uporabljali po navodilih iz literature. Podali se bomo na samostojno pot v smislu »Indie game« razvijalca ter izdelali video igro za izbran operacijski sistem.

Secondary abstract: Making an independent video game with limited resources or a so-called "indie game" (eng. independent video game) requires a very wide range of knowledge from the programmer, which must be combined into a whole. When it comes to a programmer's first project, the challenge is already where to start and which software to use, as well as how to combine the various elements into a whole. Here, it is necessary to take into account the fact that the goal is to carry out and implement the project without costs and in user-friendly software environments, where the work and instructions will not be demanding. In order to achieve the given goal, with this diploma we will use known free tools, which we will use according to the instructions from the literature. We will embark on an independent journey in the sense of "Indie game" developer and create a video game for the selected operating system.
