Abstract

V praksi so učitelji ob izvedbi dejavnostno naravnanega pouka glasbene umetnosti uspešni.

Secondary title: Working with musically gifted pupils in primary school
Secondary abstract: In the master's thesis, based on research and other sources, we define fundamental concepts such as giftedness, talent, intelligence, and musical giftedness. Simultaneously, we focus on the process of educational work with gifted students in elementary school. In the empirical part, through a qualitative case study analysis, we examine data obtained from interviews with elementary school teachers who detailed how the education of musically gifted students is carried out in the practice of music education. The research results showed how music teachers adapt their instruction to musically gifted students in practice. Before commencing work with musically gifted students, they prepare a personalized plan for educational work. During their work with gifted students, they employ appropriate methods and teaching forms in music education, adhering to the principles of individualization, personalization, and differentiation. In practice, teachers are successful in implementing activity-oriented music education. They feel sufficiently competent for working with musically gifted students, are confident in their work, and exhibit a positive attitude towards music itself. Teachers, in general, expressed strong opinions about the lack of additional training, such as seminars on working with musically gifted students in elementary school. The collaboration of teachers with the school counseling service largely depends on the relationships among colleagues within each school. The utility of the research results is primarily recognized in the possibilities for improvements in the organization of teacher education for working with musically gifted students.
