Vpliv antidepresivov na spolno funkcijo

Abstract

Uvod: Antidepresivi so pogosta terapevtska izbira za zdravljenje depresije ter imajo različne pozitivne in tudi negativne posledice pri posameznikih. Namen zaključnega dela je predstaviti vpliv antidepresivov na spolno funkcijo. Metode: Uporabili smo deskriptivno metodo dela. V zaključnem delu smo literaturo iskali v mednarodnih podatkovnih bazah PubMed, CINAHL (EBSCO), Cochrane Library in ScienceDirect ter v iskalniku Google Učenjak, in sicer na podlagi vključitvenih in izključitvenih kriterijev. Potek iskanja smo prikazali s pomočjo diagrama PRISMA. Izvedli smo analizo in sintezo literature ter jo razvrstili v hierarhijo dokazov. Rezultati: Od skupno 319 identificiranih zadetkov smo v končno analizo vključili 8 člankov. Ugotovili smo, da nekateri antidepresivi izrazito vplivajo na spolnost tako pri moških kot pri ženskah. Študije so pokazale, da antidepresivi pri ženskah povzročajo zmanjšano spolno željo, težave pri vzburjenju, doseganju orgazma in lubrikaciji ter druge težave. Pri moških so se pojavili simptomi, kot so zakasnitev ejakulacije, težave z erekcijo ter včasih boleča in retrogradna ejakulacija. Pomembno je te težave prepoznavati in terapijo prilagoditi posamezniku. Razprava in zaključek: Zdravljenje z antidepresivi, kjer so v ospredju selektivni zaviralci ponovnega privzema serotonina, lahko povzročajo pomembne stranske učinke na področju spolnosti.

Secondary abstract:	Introduction: Antidepressants are a standard treatment option for depression, but they have positive as well as negative consequences for individuals. This thesis aims to present the impact of antidepressants on sexual function. Methods: PubMed, CINAHL (EBSCO), Cochrane Library, ScienceDirect, and Google Scholar were searched for literature based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. The search flow was illustrated using a PRISMA diagram. We analysed and synthesised the literature and ranked it in a hierarchy of evidence. Results: Out of 319 identified records, we included eight articles in the final analysis. We found that some antidepressants have a substantial effect on sexuality in both men and women. Studies indicated that antidepressants in women lead to reduced sexual desire, difficulties in arousal, achieving orgasm, lubrication, and other issues. In men, symptoms include delayed ejaculation, erectile difficulties, and, in some cases, painful or retrograde ejaculation. Recognizing these issues is crucial, and therapy should be tailored to the individual. Discussion and Conclusion: Treatment with antidepressants, where selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors are in the foreground, can cause significant side effects in the field of sexuality.
