Secondary title: [Web page optimization]
Secondary abstract: The main purpose of graduate work is to know and present the bases of web page optimization and to use them in a practical example. The first part contains mostly theoretical explanation and justification of optimization and contents that are associated with optimization. This part begins with a brief description of the basic structure of web pages with related tags and a description of Cascading Style Sheets as the speciality of HTML code. In the next chapters online directories, search engines and web spiders are presented. With process of optimization we want to have an influence on web spiders. This process and ways to achieve greater appearance of web pages are displayed in a chapter Web page optimization. This chapter describes and with practical examples represents some of the key rules, that web developers must consider, if they want to make an optimized web page. This part also summarizes the most common errors and deficiencies in the process of optimization. In the second part we represent two web pages that we have created, one page is not optimized and second is optimized. If we compare the appearance of both web pages they are identical. But they differentiate in manner of making and consideration of rules of optimization. The purpose of productioning those two web pages was to prove that optimization really contributes to a higher classification of web pages in search results, when we enter both pages in the search engines.
