Abstract

V magistrskem delu se osredotočamo na pomembni tematiki, ki vplivata na uspešno delovanje organizacije. V teoretičnem delu smo s pomočjo domače in tuje literature zajeli in navedli osnove motivacije in zadovoljstva zaposlenih. Pisali smo o motivacijskih dejavnikih, opisali različne motivacijske teorije in o tem, kakšen pomen ima motivacija na delovnem mestu in kakšni zapleti se lahko pripetijo, da zavirajo motivacijo. Prav tako smo raziskali, kakšen je sploh pomen zadovoljstva na delovnem mestu, kako na zadovoljstvo vpliva motivacija ter kako jo je mogoče meriti. V empiričnem delu pa smo na podlagi anketnega vprašalnika analizirali motivacijo in zadovoljstvo zaposlenih v Vrtcu Ciciban Sevnica. Ugotovili smo, da so zaposleni s svojim delovnim mestom zadovoljni ter da so medsebojni odnosi tisti, ki jih pri delu najbolj motivirajo. Na njihovo zadovoljstvo na delovnem mestu pa najbolj vpliva zanimivost dela. Iz magistrske naloge lahko razberemo, da je motivacija ključnega pomena ne samo na delovnem mestu, ampak tudi v vsakdanjem življenju, saj je cilj vsakega posameznika, da čuti zadovoljstvo na vseh področjih življenja. Jasno je tudi, da so motivirani zaposleni bolj zadovoljni in posledično svoje delo opravljajo bolje in stremijo k ciljem organizacije.

Secondary abstract: In this master's thesis we focus on important topics influencing successful operation of an organisation. In the theoretical part, based on Slovenian and foreign literature, we stated basic elements of motivation and employee satisfaction. We wrote about motivation factors, describing different motivation theories, the importance of motivation in the workplace and complications that may occur to diminish motivation. We also studied the importance of satisfaction in the workplace, how motivation affects satisfaction and how it can be measured. In the empirical part, based on a survey, we analysed motivation and satisfaction of employees working in the Sevnica Ciciban Preschool. We determined that employees are satisfied with their workplace and that interpersonal relationships motivate them the most in their work. Their satisfaction in the workplace relies on interesting qualities of their work. This master's thesis leads us to believe that motivation is of key importance not only in the workplace, but also in everyday life, as each individual strives to feel satisfaction in all areas of life. It is also evident that motivated employees are more satisfied, thus carrying out their work better and striving to fulfil their organisation's goals.
