Primerjava dveh celovitih informacijskih rešitev Microsoft Business Central in Odoo

Abstract

V tej nalogi bomo opisali celovite informacijske rešitve (rešitve ERP), ki so prisotne v podjetjih že desetletja in se zaradi eksponentnega vzpona tehnologije in umetne inteligence konstantno razvijajo. Osredotočili se bomo na dva globalna ponudnika rešitev ERP za mala in srednja podjetja, to sta Business Central podjetja Microsoft in pa manj znana rešitev Odoo. Rešitvi vplivata na optimizacijo poslovnih procesov in zaradi pomembnosti uporabniške izkušnje bomo povezali le-to z rešitvami. Opisali bomo osnovni proces prodaje in kako se izpelje v vsaki od rešitev. Opisali bomo, zakaj je uporabniška izkušnja boljša pri rešitvi Odoo in s čim Business Central izboljša funkcionalnost procesa prodaje.

Secondary abstract:	In this thesis we will describe the end-to-end IT solutions (ERP solutions) that have been in place in companies for decades and are constantly evolving due to the exponential rise of technology and artificial intelligence. We will focus on two global providers of ERP solutions for small and medium big companies, Business Central from Microsoft and a lesser known solution, Odoo. Both solutions have an impact on the optimisation of business processes and, due to the importance of the user experience, we will link this to the solutions. We will describe the basic sales process and how it is carried out in each of the solutions. We will describe why the user experience is better in the Odoo solution and how Business Central improves the functionality of the sales process.
