Abstract

Secondary title: Design of corporate visual identity for non-existent company
Secondary abstract: Corporate visual identity is a complex, yet crucial part of visual communication. It shows how a company or brand presents itself to the public and communicates with it. In this paper, we analysed the history of branding and how it developed into the first corporate visual identities before becoming a crucial part of our communication. We studied basic concepts of a corporate visual identity and the psychological effect of design on the way we perceive visual stimulants. In the empirical part, we created a corporate visual identity for a non-existent company and provided examples of mock-ups.
