Abstract

Uvod: Totalna proteza je standardna oblika rešitve pri brezzobih pacientih. Lažjo in hitrejšo izdelavo takega protetičnega nadomestka nam omogoča digitalna tehnologija CAD/CAM. V programu CAD lahko oblikujemo in premikamo zobe, ki jih najdemo v digitalni knjižnici zob, ali pa preslikamo obstoječe zobe pacienta. Izdelava lastne digitalne knjižnice zobnih oblik je proces, pri katerem lahko iz garniture zob ali mavčnega modela izdelamo edinstveno knjižnico. Izdelamo jo lahko iz modela pacientovih dejanskih zob v mladosti, modelov drugih primernih zob in iz garniture zob. Pri izdelavi lahko uporabimo dodajalno ali odvzemalo tehnologijo. Namen: Namen diplomskega dela je predstaviti oblike zob in digitalne knjižnice po tehnologiji CAD/CAM. Osredotočili smo se predvsem na snemno protetiko in izdelavo dveh digitalnih knjižnic v programu 3Shape. Metode dela: Pri pisanju teoretičnega dela smo uporabili deskriptivno metodo dela, tako da smo pregledali že obstoječo literaturo. V praktičnem delu pa smo naredili dve lastni digitalni knjižnici in izdelali digitalno totalno protezo. Rezultati: V rezultatih predstavljamo postopka izdelave digitalne knjižnice iz mavčnega modela in iz garniture zob Ref-line. Izdelava je podprta s slikovnim gradivom. Razprava in zaključek: Z izdelavo lastne digitalne knjižnice pacientu naredimo edinstven nadomestek. Pri sami izdelavi je pomembno znanje o obliki zob in razumevanje digitalnih tehnologij. Področje izdelave lastne digitalne knjižnice je slabo raziskano in brez strokovne literature.

Secondary abstract: Introduction: The full denture is a standard solution for edentulous patients. With the help of digital CAD/CAM technology, it is posssible to fabricate such prosthetic replacements/restorations more easily and quickly. In the CAD software, we can design and manipulate teeth from the digital tooth library or replicate the patient's existing teeth. Creating a custom digital tooth library is a process in which we can make a unique library from a set of teeth or a plaster model. It can be created from a model of the patient's actual teeth from youth, models of other suitable teeth, and a set of teeth. Additive or subtractive technology can be used for fabrication. Purpose: The purpose of this thesis is to present tooth shapes and digital libraries within CAD/CAM technology. We focused primarily on removable prosthetics and the creation of two digital libraries in the 3Shape software. Methods: In the theoretical part, we applied a descriptive research method by evaluating the existing literature. In the practical part, we created two custom digital libraries and fabricated a digital complete denture. Results: The results present the processes of creating a digital library from a plaster model and from the Ref-line tooth set. The creation is supported with graphical material. Discussion and conclusion: By creating a custom digital library, we provide the patient with a unique replacement. In the creation itself, knowledge of tooth shapes and understanding of digital technologies is important. The field of creating custom digital libraries is poorly researched and lacks professional literature.
