Abstract

Magistrska naloga raziskuje popularnost, zaupanje in verodostojnost podkastov.

Secondary abstract: The master's thesis explores the popularity, trust, and credibility of podcasts. The theoretical part defines podcasts, their characteristics, podcast users, and advertising in podcasts. The research focuses on listening habits, user perceptions and motivations, trust in podcasts as a source of information, the perception of ads, and trust in podcast hosts. Findings show that most listeners tune in to podcasts a few times a month and mainly on YouTube. Trust in podcasts is higher than in most other media, except for radio. It was also found that listeners generally perceive podcast ads negatively and prefer to skip them.
