Abstract

Namen diplomskega dela je predstaviti in spremljati razvoj fine motorike otrok, starih tri do šest let, in preveriti, ali kinetični pesek vpliva na razvoj fine motorike. V teoretičnem delu je predstavljen gibalni razvoj otrok, pojasnjena groba in fina motorika ter uporaba kinetičnega peska v vrtcu. V empiričnem delu so predstavljeni rezultati štirimesečne raziskave, v katero je bil vključen ne slučajnostni vzorec iz konkretne populacije 49 otrok, starih od 38 do 70 mesecev, iz treh enot vrtca pri OŠ Videm. Uporabljena je bila kvantitativna tehnika zbiranja podatkov z merskim instrumentom treh nalog testa MOT 4-6 (točkovanje/tapkanje, ujem palice in zbiranje vžigalic) ter testom sestavljanja votlih kock. Za obdelavo podatkov so bili uporabljeni t-test za odvisne vzorce, t-test za neodvisne vzorce in Pearsonov koeficient korelacije. Na osnovi obdelanih podatkov je bilo ugotovljeno, da kinetični pesek pozitivno vpliva na razvoj fine motorike, saj so otroci eksperimentalne skupine na finalnem testiranju dosegli boljše rezultate kot otroci kontrolne skupine, razlika je statistično značilna (p < 0,05). Pri eksperimentalni skupini je med rezultati testov na inicialnem in na finalnem testiranju nastala visoka/močna pozitivna povezanost (r = 0,701), povezanost je statistično značilna (p < 0,001).

Secondary abstract: The purpose of the diploma thesis was to present and monitor the development of fine motor skills of children aged three to six years old and to check whether kinetic sand affects the development of fine motor skills. In the theoretical part, the motor development of children is presented, gross and fine motor skills are explained, and also the use of kinetic sand in kindergarten. The empirical part presents the results of a four-month research, which included a non-random sample from a specific population of 49 children aged 38 to 70 months, from three kindergarten units at Videm Primary School. A quantitative data collection method was used with a measurement instrument of a three-task MOT 4-6 test (scoring/tapping, stick catching, and match collection) and a hollow cube assembly test. The t-test for dependent samples, the t-test for independent samples and the Pearson's correlation coefficient were used for data processing. On the basis of the processed data, it was found that kinetic sand has a positive effect on the development of fine motor skills, as the children of the experimental group achieved better results on the final test than the children of the control group, the difference is statistically significant (p < 0.05). In the experimental group, there was a high/strong positive correlation between the initial and final test results (r = 0.701), the correlation is statistically significant (p < 0.001).
