Secondary title: | Practical aspects of developing art appreciation at grade level |
Secondary abstract: | The thesis explores the role of art appreciation in art education at the primary school level. The research is based on a qualitative method and conducted in three research phases. In the first phase, a semi-structured interview was used to determine the current level of implementation of art appreciation guidelines in teaching. In the second phase, lessons were conducted across five fields of art, incorporating all components of art appreciation and the method of aesthetic transfer. The third phase involved the analysis and synthesis of findings on the effectiveness of the proposed guidelines and results from the previous phases. The qualitative part of the research included 11 teachers from primary schools in the Podravje region, who taught various age groups of children and had varying years of experience. |
