magistrsko delo
Abstract
V prihodnje bo pozornost potrebno nameniti izobraževanjem učiteljev geografije in svetovalnih delavcev na področju zagotavljanja varnosti učencev v šoli in izdelati krovni dokument dejavnikov tveganja in postopkov varne izvedbe terenskega dela.

Aspects of health protection in the implementation of fieldwork for geography teaching in primary and secondary schools in the Podravje Region |
| Secondary abstract: |
This master's thesis addresses safety in the planning and implementation of fieldwork in geography lessons in primary and secondary schools in the Podravje region. The theoretical part explores the importance of geographical fieldwork, the challenges of pedagogical work in the field, and the risks associated with prescribed excursions. We present common illnesses and injuries occurring in schools and the activities and measures aimed at their prevention. We examine safety legislation and the recommendations of the National Institute of Public Health (NIJZ) to improve the safety of students. In the empirical part, based on semi-structured interviews conducted with 20 interviewees (10 geography teachers and 10 school counsellors), we found that the aspect of safety is crucial and significantly affects pedagogical work. An increase in students' health and learning difficulties has been observed, requiring adaptations in the planning and implementation of lessons. In the future, attention will need to be given to educating geography teachers and school counsellors on ensuring student safety in school and creating a comprehensive document outlining risk factors and procedures for safely conducting fieldwork. Collaboration with healthcare professionals is essential for supporting the training of school staff and addressing students' health issues to improve safety. |
