Abstract

V magistrskem delu so analizirana literarna dela, ki obravnavajo tematiko medvrstniškega nasilja: kako je nasilje med vrstniki predstavljeno, kakšne odnose do nasilja izražajo književni liki in katere vrednote zagovarjajo obravnavana dela. V teoretičnem delu je opredeljen pojem medvrstniškega nasilja in z njim povezani pojmi kot so fizično, verbalno, psihično in spletno nasilje. Posebej so obravnavane različne vloge v nasilnih okoliščinah, vključno z vlogami žrtev, nasilnežev in opazovalcev. Analiziran je tudi vpliv socializacije na oblikovanje vedenjskih vzorcev, ki vodijo v nasilje. V nadaljevanju je analizirana realistična mladinska proza, ki je primerna za otroke na razredni stopnji poučevanja, pri čemer je osrednja tema medvrstniško nasilje. Ugotovitve raziskave so pokazale, da obravnavana dela pogosto spodbujajo strpnost, razumevanje in prijateljstvo ter mlade bralce spodbujajo k nenasilnemu reševanju konfliktov in razvoju empatije.

Secondary title: Motive of peer violence in selected realistic prose for class-level readers
Secondary abstract: The master's thesis analyses literary works that address the theme of peer violence: how violence among peers is portrayed, what attitudes towards violence are expressed by literary characters, and which values the analysed works advocate. The theoretical part defines the concept of peer violence and related terms such as physical, verbal, psychological, and cyber violence. Special attention is given to different roles in violent situations, including the roles of victims, perpetrators, and bystanders. The thesis also examines the influence of socialization on the formation of behavioural patterns that lead to violence. Furthermore, the study analyses realistic youth prose suitable for children at the primary school level, with a central focus on peer violence. The findings of the research indicate that the analysed works often promote tolerance, understanding, and friendship, encouraging young readers to resolve conflicts nonviolently and develop empathy.
