magistrsko delo

    Abstract

V teoretičnem delu smo predstavili zgradbo očesa, slepe in slabovidne otroke, njihov način vključevanja v izobraževanje in njihovo opismenjevanje. Namen našega magistrskega dela je zasnovati in izdelati dva didaktična pripomočka – tipno slikanico in didaktično igro – namenjena otrokom v prvem vzgojno-izobraževalnem obdobju.

            | Secondary abstract: | This master's thesis consists of two parts: a theoretical and an empirical section. The theoretical part presents the anatomy of the eye, blind and visually impaired children, their inclusion in the educational system, and approaches to literacy development. Special emphasis is placed on the creation of adapted materials, such as tactile picture books and educational games, which play a crucial role in a child's development. These books often serve as a child's first encounter with literature, broadening their horizons and stimulating imagination. Picture books educate by demonstrating how elements can be combined in new and creative ways. The interplay of text and illustration fosters creativity and bridges reality with fantasy, influencing the child's cognitive development and enhancing their aesthetic sensitivity. To ensure more effective educational outcomes, didactic games are highly recommended. They provide diverse opportunities to foster children's abilities. Increased attention, focus, and active participation contribute to better learning results. Didactic games also encourage collaboration among pupils, thereby strengthening social skills and teamwork. The goal of this master's thesis was to design and create two educational tools - a tactile picture book and a didactic game - intended for children in the first educational cycle. These tools aim to present a story in a way that maintains the originality and essence of the main characters, while simultaneously fostering the development of empathy towards peers who, due to their circumstances, may be deprived of a full experience of the real world. |
