Abstract

Šport kot sestavni del turistične ponudbe doživlja v sodobni družbi nov razcvet. V diplomskem delu se osredotočamo na analizo vpliva športnih dogodkov na razvoj turističnih destinacij, s posebnim poudarkom na primeru Bleda in Bohinja. Skozi teoretični okvir smo raziskali, kako športni marketing in organizacija športnih dogodkov predstavljata učinkovito orodje teritorialnega marketinga. Praktični del dela je namenjen analizi Polmaratona dveh jezer, kjer smo preučevali njegove ekonomske, turistične in socialne učinke na lokalno skupnost. Na podlagi empiričnih podatkov smo oblikovali priporočila za nadaljnji razvoj športnega turizma na Gorenjskem.

Secondary abstract:	Sports, as an integral part of the tourist offer, are experiencing a new boom in modern society. This thesis focuses on analyzing the impact of sporting events on the development of tourist destinations, with a particular emphasis on the case of Bled and Bohinj. Through a theoretical framework, we will explore how sports marketing and the organization of sporting events represent an effective tool for territorial marketing. The practical part of the work will be devoted to analyzing the Two Lakes Marathon, where we will examine its economic, tourist, and social impacts on the local community. Based on empirical data, we will formulate recommendations for the further development of sports tourism in Gorenjska.
