Abstract
V okviru magistrskega dela smo želeli ugotoviti, v kolikšni meri učenci 3. razreda dvojezične osnovne šole dosegajo cilje s področja poimenovalne zmožnosti, ki so zapisani v učnem načrtu za slovenščino in predvideni za konec prvega vzgojno-izobraževalnega obdobja. Dvojezično osnovno šolo obiskujejo tudi učenci, katerih materni jezik ni slovenski. Predmetnik dvojezične slovensko-madžarske osnovne šole jim omogoča, da v prvem vzgojno-izobraževalnem obdobju obiskujejo slovenščino kot drugi jezik. Učni načrt za slovenščino kot drugi jezik se nekoliko razlikuje od učnega načrta za slovenščino kot materni jezik, vendar pa so cilji, ki se dotikajo poimenovalne zmožnosti v prvem vzgojno-izobraževalnem obdobju, v obeh učnih načrtih enaki. Ker je po učnem načrtu izhodišče obravnave besedilo in učenci že v prvem vzgojno-izobraževalnem obdobju spoznavajo tudi umetnostna besedila, med njimi ljudske pravljice oz. pripovedke, smo se odločili, da bomo poimenovalno zmožnost otrok preverjali na osnovi slovenske ljudske pravljice Pšenica - najlepši cvet, objavljene v knjigi Slovenske pripojedke (Stanonik 2022). V raziskavi je sodelovalo 45 učencev 3. razreda ene izmed pomurskih dvojezičnih osnovnih šol. Rezultati so pokazali, da je poimenovalna zmožnost učencev šibka, saj imajo težave pri poimenovanju posameznih predmetov s knjižnimi izrazi, večkrat uporabijo narečne in madžarske besede, hkrati pa se v zapisih knjižnih poimenovanj kažejo tudi težave na slovnični in pravopisni ravni. Učenci imajo težave tudi pri navajanju knjižnih besed z nasprotnim, enakim, ožjim ali širšim pomenom. Šibka je tudi njihova besedotvorna zmožnost, kar se odraža pri izpeljavi svojilnih pridevnikov iz samostalnikov, izpeljavi samostalniških izpeljank iz glagolov in tvorbi manjšalnic ter pri iskanju besed iz iste besedne družine.

Naming ability of third - grade pupils of a bilingual primary school |

In the master's thesis, we aimed to determine the extent to which third-grade students attending a bilingual primary school achieve the objectives related to lexical competence, as outlined in the Slovene curriculum and intended for the end of the first educational cycle. The bilingual Slovene-Hungarian primary school is also attended by pupils whose mother tongue is not Slovene. The curriculum of the bilingual school allows these students to study Slovene as a second language during the first educational cycle. The curriculum for Slovene as a second language differs slightly from the curriculum for Slovene as a mother tongue; however, the objectives related to lexical competence in the first educational cycle are the same in both. Since the curriculum is based on the use of texts, and students are introduced to literary texts from the very beginning of their schooling – including traditional folk tales – we decided to assess the students' lexical competence through the Slovene folk tale Pšenica – najlepši cvet (Wheat – the Most Beautiful Flower), published in the book Slovenske pripojedke (Stanonik, 2022). The study involved 45 third-grade students from one of the bilingual primary schools in the Prekmurje region. The results showed that the students' lexical competence is weak. They experienced difficulties in naming specific objects using standard literary terms, frequently resorting to dialectal or Hungarian words. Moreover, their use of standard vocabulary is often marked by grammatical and orthographic errors. The students also struggle to identify literary synonyms, antonyms, hypernyms, and hyponyms. Their word-formation skills are limited as well, particularly in the derivation of possessive adjectives from nouns, the formation of deverbal nouns, the creation of diminutives, and the identification of words from the same word family. |
