Abstract

Diplomsko delo obsega teoretični in praktični del. V praktičnem delu smo zapisali osem priprav plesnih dejavnosti, skozi katere so otroci izražali temeljna in kompleksna čustva.

Secondary abstract: The purpose of the bachelor's thesis, Dance Activities in Kindergarten on the Topic of Emotions, is to research how children can learn, recognize, and express different emotions through dance and dance activities. The bachelor's thesis consists of a theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part, we focused on connecting the findings of various authors on emotions, emotional, and motor and dance development of preschool children. In addition, we focused on the appropriate principles, methods, and forms of work that we strive for optimal planning and implementation of dance activities in kindergarten. In the practical part, we wrote eight preparations of dance activities through which children expressed basic and complex emotions. We carried them out with a group of 22 preschool children aged 5 to 6 years in the Žalec kindergarten. Based on the evaluations that we wrote after the performances, we ascertained that with carefully planned and child-adapted dance activities, we can successfully address both basic and complex emotions, with the children demonstrating a high level of motivation, creativity, and interest. Despite the fact that complex emotions are less familiar to children, with appropriate presentation and the use of interesting props, they were successfully recognized and expressed through dance, which contributed to positive responses and a deeper experience of emotions.
