Secondary abstract: The thesis treats an outline scheme for construction of water treatment plant Črnske meje. Beside this, already designed solutions for water sources Dokleţovje, Krog, Hraščice and Turnišče, are described. The thesis begins with the presentation of basic theoretical background for water treatment technologies, that are used for removal of iron, manganese, nitrates and pesticides from groundwater. Five different technological lines are proposed for water treatment. The technics proposed in the technological lines are aeration, filtration with BIRM, filtration with greensand, activated carbon adsorption, ultrafiltration, in-situ iron and manganese removal and nitrate removal using nitrate selective resins for ion exchange. At the end the technological lines are compared and evaluated with several criteria to select the best solution.

Abstract (ePrints): V diplomski nalogi je predstavljena idejna zasnova čistilne naprave za vodni vir Črnske meje. Poleg tega so opisane ţe izdelane rešitve za vodne vire Dokleţovje, Krog, Hraščice in Turnišče. Na začetku naloge je podano teoretično ozadje postopkov, ki se uporabljajo za odstranjevanje ţeleza, mangana, nitratov in pesticidov iz podzemnih voda. Za čiščenje vode je predlaganih pet variant, ki vsebujejo različne tehnologije čiščenja. Obravnavane tehnologije so aeracija, filtracija z BIRM materialom, filtracija z zelenim peskom, adsorpcija na aktivnem oglju, odstranjevanje ţeleza in mangana v vodonosniku, ultrafiltracija in odstranjevanje nitratov z nitratno selektivnimi smolami. Posamezne variante so med seboj primerjane z raličnimi kriteriji, nakar je podana najboljša rešitev.
