Sekundarni naslov: Drinking water preparation from surface water by ultrafiltration and reverse osmosis
Sekundarni povzetek: In Slovenia the most commonly used method for preparation drinking water are conventional proceedings. The raising need for stable supply of high quality water calls for a growing interest in advanced and efficient membrane processes. In the experiment, which was carried out for the purpose of this thesis, we tested the membrane pilot plant using the processes of ultrafiltration and reverse osmosis. During an ongoing test we simultaneously monitored the main operating conditions of the pilot plant and measured physico-chemical parameters in purified water. For the purposes of preparation drinking water, we used the raw water from three different surface sources: lake Šoštanj, lake Škale and river Paka. The quality of inlet and outlet water of pilot plant was then determined with the comparison of measured values (selected parameters) to the legally prescribed limits for drinking water. The results of our measurements were a foundation for calculating the particular effects of cleansing achieved by ultrafiltration, reverse osmosis and the pilot plant as a whole.

Ob tem smo spremljali glavne obratovalne pogoje pilotne naprave in merili fizikalno-kemijske parametre v prečiščeni vodi. Za potrebe pridobivanja pitne vode smo uporabili surovo vodo iz treh različnih površinskih virov: Šoštanjskega jezera, Škalskega jezera in reke Pake. Kakovost vstopne in izstopne vode pilotne naprave smo v nadaljevanju primerjali z izmerjenimi vrednostmi izbranih parametrov z zakonsko predpisanimi mejnimi vrednostmi za pitno vodo. Iz rezultatov meritev smo izračunali učinke čiščenja oziroma zadržke ultrafiltracije, reverzne osmoze in celotne pilotne naprave.
