The purpose of this thesis was to research the characteristics of adolescence period in terms of group work activities and the possibilites of using interactive games and creative movement as a social pedagogical media for working with a youth group. In the theoretical part the author covered some theoretical basis for her social pedagogical work with the youth group using games and movement. The period of adolescence is highlighted in the aspect of our post-modern society. The importance of using media for social pedagogical work in primary schools, especially interactive games and creative movement, was specified in the study and set in the work group. A concept of group dynamics is presented as well. A special emphasis was placed on different posibilities and aspects of positive effects on psychosocial development of adolescents as a result of the inclusion in a group.In the empirical part the use of games and movement is represented in the specific group of youth. The major finding of the research was the confirmation of forseeing positive impacts on psychosocial development of adolescents who were included in the workshops – the positive effects are reflected in their self-understanding, self-image and in interpersonal relationship and trust. |
