Teacher`s opinions on textbooks for Slovene language lessons in the 4th grade of elementary school |

The choice of four textbooks for Slovene language lessons in the 4th grade of elementary school is quite large for such a small market as Slovenia. In my thesis I am trying to establish the difference between these four textbooks and to acquire opinions from teachers that use them. The survey was conducted on a sample of forty teachers, ten of which are using each textbook. I have discovered that teachers are not enough familiar with textbooks they do not use which makes the comparison between individual textbooks quite difficult. The cause for this can be partly attributed to textbook funds which prevent teachers from freely selecting the textbooks they would prefer to use. By being excluded from the selection process they are not required to be familiar with the complete assortment of textbooks available. They are also unable to clearly present their opinion on the textbook they use and to make the study even more difficult, only a few teachers are willing to cooperate and solve the survey. |

Na tako majhnem trgu, kot je slovenski, je ponudba štirih učnih gradiv za slovenščino v 4. razredu velika. V diplomskem delu skušam ugotoviti, v čem se ta razlikujejo in kaj o njim menijo učitelji, ki ga uporabljajo. Raziskava je bila izvedena na vzorcu štiridesetih učiteljev, po deset za vsako učno gradivo. Ugotovila sem, da učitelji premalo poznajo učna gradiva, ki jih ne uporabljajo, zato so jih težko primerjali med seboj. Delno lahko vzroke za to najdemo v učbeniških skladih, ki učiteljem preprečujejo svobodno izbiro učnega gradiva. Tako učiteljem ni potrebno podajati odločitev, zaradi katerih bi morali celotno ponudbo spoznati. Tudi mnenja o učnem gradivu, ki ga uporabljajo, ne znajo konkretno predstaviti. Vse skupaj pa je bilo še bolj oteženo, ker so le redki učitelji pripravljeni sodelovati in rešiti anketo. |
