Secondary title: Mobbing among help professions employees
Secondary abstract: The number of cases of violence in the workplace is increasing, so it is important to learn about it. Today many authors write about mobbing and there is a common opinion among them that workplace violence is unacceptable and should not happen. In the present work I research violence in the workplace through a variety of domestic and foreign authors and their views. Therefore, the theoretical part focuses on the manifestations of mobbing and the causes for the appearance, symptoms, consequences, the role of victim and perpetrator and action and prevention. Particularly important in theoretical part in the chapter on the social pedagogue as a reliever. The empirical part of my thesis includes a research in which I check mobbing phenomenon in connection with the professions of aid, then I research the connection between mobbing and type of employment, age groups and place of employment and at the end, I also consider who are the most common perpetrators of mobbing. Very important conclusion that I reached is, that mobbing (according to my model which included 218 respondents) is not a widespread phenomenon among this population. However, one should not overlook certain tendencies which suggest to the occurrence of such violence.
