Secondary title: The didactic materials at maths in kindergarden
Secondary abstract: In this Diploma, entitled The Didactic Materials at Maths in kindergarden, I describe two different educational concepts and didactical materials used in these two concepts in the area of Maths in kindergarden. The theoretical part introduces the mathematical domain in public kindergarden and materials used in it. It describes some mathematical contents, mathematical environment and how kindergarden teachers can make simple didactical materials for Maths, on their own. In the second part of the theoretical part I introduce the Montessori pedagogical concept and materials, used for recognizing basic mathematical notions and learning Maths in this concept. First, I briefly introduce the establisher, Maria Montessori, and how she classifies periods of growth from birth to 24 years of age. I also describe six sensitivity stages, which are the basic of her theory of systematical evolution of human skills and abilities. In the end, there are Montessori Maths materials and materials which are not Maths materials but are also used for recognizing basic mathematical notions. Public and Montessori kindergardens are very different, and that is why, at the end of the theoretical part of diploma, I made a short comparison of didactical materials for Maths in both educational concepts. In the empiric part, I discuss the results of the questionnaire that was taken by the kindergarden teachers who work in the kindergarden Anton Medved in Kamnik and in the kindergarden Trzin. The results show: - How many kindergarden teachers use mathematical didactical materials? - Which materials they us at Maths in kindergarden? - Do they have a mathematical corner in the classroom? - How many kindergarden teachers know Montessori mathematical materials and which materials they are? - Do they use Montessori mathematical materials and for which contents?

V empiričnem delu so predstavljeni rezultati anonimnega anketnega vprašalnika, ki so ga izpolnili vzgojitelji in vzgojiteljice VVZ Antona Medveda Kamnik in VVZ Trzin.
