Secondary title: Connection of motion/sports activity with nutrition habits of preschool children and their parents in Bela krajina
Secondary abstract: Aim of this thesis was to analyze the link of motion/sports activity of preschool children and their parents in Bela krajina with selected factors of healthy lifestyle. For the research needs we constructed two separation questionnaires. With questionnaire we have obtained details on which we analysed motion/sports activity of preschool children and their parents and we determined some factors of healthy lifestyle. The first questionnaire concerned to motion/sports activity of parents and their from three to six-year children. The second one concerned to nutrition habits of parents and their from three to six-year children in kindergartens in Bela krajina. In our study we included fifty-seven parents and their children whose visit one of kindergartens in Bela krajina (Vinica, Dragatuš, Črnomelj, Semič, Metlika). Analysis of the questionnaires contains the same percentage number of parents and their from three to six-year children in mentioned kindergartens. The data was analyzed with statistical package SPSS (Statistical package for the social sciences). We have used subroutine Descriptives, for analysis of variance we took Anova. For testing hypotheses we have used coefficient of contingency. Pearson's and Spearman's correlation coefficient was used for identify links between variables. Statistical significance was checked with level of five percent risk (p 0,05). It was found out that parent are motion/sports active for four hours in average during week.. They have bad nutrition habits because they don't prefer consume enough meals per day. Fifty-three percent of parents at least occasionally drink alcoholic beverages and forty-six percent of them smoke. At the analysis of the questionnaire for the children we have found out that they are in average motion/sport active ninety minutes per day. Nutrition habits of children are better as nutrition habits of their parents are. Most meals is bounded on kindergartens; therefore they have more meals, type of food depends from nutrition experts in kindergartens. It should be highlighted that we have confirmed the hypotheses which says: if parents are motion/sports active, this means that children are also more motion/sports active. There was also confirmed hypotheses which says: if parents have better nutrition habits during the week this means that children eat more healthy food during the week.

Abstract (ePrints): Namen diplomske naloge je bil analizirati povezanost gibalne/športne aktivnosti predšolskih otrok in njihovih staršev v Beli krajini z izbranimi dejavniki zdravega načina življenja. Analiza vprašalnikov obsega odstotkovno enako število staršev in njihovih 3-6 letnih otrok v omenjenih vrtcih. Podatke smo obdelali s statističnim paketom SPSS (statistical Package for the social Sciences).
