Outline scheme of alternativew of the crossing Tržaška road - motorway junction Ljubljana - zahod |
Secondary abstract: |
This thesis deals with the outline and proposal of alternative route assignments at the intersection of Tržaška road, Fajfarjeva street and motorway junction Ljubljana - zahod in the area of Dolgi Most in the city of Ljubljana. The purpose of alternatives to the current intersection is to reshape the traffic flow and ultimately to reduce transportation congestion in that area. Multiple road simulations were undertaken in order to determine the most effective way to reshape the current intersection. Simulations to obtain traffic loads were conducted during morning and afternoon rush hours for recent and projected years. For the simulated traffic loads in projected years, the possible presence of a tram route through the intersection was taken into account. After deciding on the most effective and desirable design of the intersection, technical feasibility was extensively verified. On the basis of both geometrical and technical needs, two variants of a new intersection were proposed. Importantly, the proposals include technical alternatives of how to lead pedestrians and bicyclists through the intersection. In the undertaking of this study, the following technical tools were used: the geodetic layer in the electronic format; the computer program for planning roads, PLATEIA; and the program for simulation road networks, VISSIM. |

Abstract (ePrints): |
Izdelali smo dve varianti. V študiji so zajete tudi možne tehnične rešitve vodenja pešcev in kolesarjev. Za izdelavo študije smo uporabili geodetske podloge v elektronski obliki, programsko opremo za projektiranje cest PLATEIA in program za simulacijo cestnih mrež VISSIM. VIII |
