The improvement of visibility and perceivedness in intersections |

The thesis deals with the issues of badly visible and perceivable intersections. The first part consists of basic information on the intersections, types of intersections, computational elements and visibility. The second part comprises the analysis of the actual situation of the intersection Novomeška cesta - G2-106 road near Kočevje. At this point we get to know the traffic load, traffic safety and traffic accidents on this intersection. Later on, the thesis describes some proposals for the rearrangement of the intersection. The proposals can be roughly divided into two groups. The first group describes the rearangement of the existing unsignalized intersection into an intersection with traffic islands to improve the traffic channeling with according ground designation and expansion of the road surface, which can be achieved by enlargment of import and export radii. At this point, the thesis also mentions the adequatee lighting and tree planting of the surroundings due to the greater perceivedness of the intersection. It is followed by measures to slow down traffic, which can cause the reduction of velocity on the priority road. The second example represents the rearrangement of the existing intersection into the roundabout. |

Povzetek (ePrints): |
Diplomska naloga zajema problematiko slabo zaznavnih in preglednih križišč. V prvem delu se seznanimo z osnovnimi informacijami o križiščih, z oblikami križišč, z računskimi elementi križišč in s preglednostjo. Drugi del naloge zajema analizo sedanjega stanja križišča Novomeške ceste in ceste G2-106 v bližini Kočevja. Tu se seznanimo še s prometno obremenitvijo, prometno varnostjo in prometnimi nesrečami v obravnavanem križišču. Nato sledijo predlogi za preureditev križišča. V grobem lahko predloge razvrstimo v dva primera. Prvi primer predlogov opisuje preureditev obstoječega nesemaforiziranega križišča v križišče s prometnimi otoki za boljše kanaliziranje prometa z ustreznimi talnimi oznakami in razširitvijo vozišča, ki jo dosežemo s povečanjem uvoznih in izvoznih radijev. Pri tem je omenjena tudi ustrezna osvetlitev in zasaditev okolice zaradi povečanja zaznavnosti križišča. Sledijo še ukrepi za umiritev prometa, s katerimi lahko zmanjšamo hitrost na prednostni cesti. Drugi primer preureditve križišča je preureditev obstoječega križišča v krožno križišče. |
