Secondary title: Floods in Slovenia 18.8.2007
Secondary abstract: In my graduation thesis the floods in September 2007 are described . First chapter is assigned to hydrogeological features of hurt range. In hydrologic point of view this range fits in three large river basins: river basin of Soča, Sava and Drava, that is why descriptions of geologic features are adapted to this. The second chapter with title: meteorological analysis of precipitations first generally shows the weather occurring this day, then the accurate description of development of weather situation follows. In continuation the local and time distribution of precipitations are described, preliminary prediction is assigned at the end of this chapter. In third most extensive chapter hydrologic circumstances on hurt range are described . In the first part the individual river basins are described in the order the situation is occurring over the catchments that day. In the second part the calculations of runoff coefficients of flood waves are performed. Damage caused by natural disaster is described in the last chapter which is also divided on two parts. In the first part the consequences of natural disaster for each region are described and in second one the occurred damage in numbers is presented.
