Secondary title: Chemical analysis of Ljubljanica river's karst basin with test kists
Secondary abstract: Talk about water is very common in this days, we talk about water as fun, drinking, water as a habitat for the species, water pollution and many other things. That we are aware of the importance of water, shows also that we have devoted a year for water in the last 10 years. The year 2003 was declared The International year of water from the United Nations General Assembly. We dedicate this research to this, with a focus on chemical analysis of karst basin Ljubljanica river with tests kits. The analysis was conducted from Prezid field to the Ljubljanica river estuary and is focused mainly on the ions dissolved in water NO3-, SO42-, PO43-, NH4+, water hardness, pH and dissolved pesticides. Because river Ljubljanica is a karst river, it disappears several time along the way. Because of this, the karst rivers have strong self-cleaning power, which I checked on the path of the main river.

Vrednosti omenjenih ionov pri prehodu skozi jamski sistem v večini primerov padejo. Tako imajo kraške reke veliko samočistilno moč katero sem preverjal na poti glavnega toka reke.
