Discovering conifers with pre-school children |
Secondary abstract: |
This diploma paper includes theoretical, empirical and practical part.
The theoretical part is about science in the pre-school period and about the planning of activities including natural sciences. What follows are the division of plants, characteristic and the propagation of conifers. In this part are also presentations and descriptions of some tree species.
The empirical part points out the children’s answers to the questions about the conifers and there is also the course of the research, which had been carried out with the help of one hundred children aged 5 and 6, before the activity started.
The practical part includes some examples of the activities through which children come to new findings about the conifers. What follows are the results of the research, which was made after the children's activities. These contain a lot of active learning in order to give them some new knowledge about the conifers. |

Diplomska naloga vsebuje teoretični, empirični in praktični del.
Teoretični del obravnava naravoslovje v predšolskem okolju in načrtovanje naravoslovnih dejavnosti. V nadaljevanju sledi delitev rastlin, značilnosti in razmnoževanje iglavcev. V tem delu so predstavljene in opisane nekatere drevesne vrste.
Empirični del prikazuje odgovore otrok na vprašanja o iglavcih in potek raziskave, ki je bila izvedena s pomočjo stotih otrok, starih od 5 do 6 let pred izvedbo dejavnosti.
Praktični del vsebuje primere dejavnosti, preko katerih so otroci prihajali do novih spoznaj o iglavcih. Sledijo rezultati raziskave, ki je bila izvedena po dejavnostih otrok, ki so z aktivnim spoznavanjem pridobili novo znanje o iglavcih. |
