Secondary title: The influence of dysfunctional perceptions about love on the quality of partnership
Secondary abstract: People enter a partnership with certain perceptions about love, and many times we don't realise that the very images are responsible for quality of our relationships. From year to year, statistics about divorces tend to be more worrying, so in my diploma paper I decided to check what kind of perceptions do people have, and how do the very perceptions affect relationships between partners. In the theoretical part of my diploma paper I focused also on ways of creating quality partnerships, which wouldn't be based only on falling in love or seeking for passion. In the empirical part of my diploma paper I tried to research the perceptions of love of my interviewees, and their opinions about the influences on quality of their relationships. Next, my goal was to research the kinds of techniques they use for preserving their partnership, and finding out whether they were conscious of existence and content of their own perceptions of love.
