Secondary title: Orientation games in kindergarten
Secondary abstract: The thesis presents the area of general orientation and orientation of the child. The focus is placed on orientation games for preschool children. The first part outlines different definitions of orientation, types of orientation, accessories for orientation and major errors in orientation. It also presents the development of spatial orientation of preschool children, the development of the concept of space according to the level of cognitive development in line with the theory by Piaget, and orientation within an educational context, with particular emphasis on orientation games. The second part of the thesis is monographic in which the descriptive work method was used. It aimed to examine whether orientation games are appropriate for the use in kindergartens and if they can be adjusted to preschool children. The main objective of the research was to identify examples of practical adjustments for teachers during planned daily activities in kindergartens. Having considered all four types of orientation games, it was established that they can be adapted to preschool children, which is demonstrated by various possible suggestions and additional examples of good practice.

Abstract (ePrints): V diplomski nalogi je predstavljena splošna orientacija in orientacija pri otroku.
