Secondary abstract:	This graduation thesis discusses interactive screen maps. It describes the history and concepts of earlier and present mapping. On a practical example of a creation of a new interactive tourist map of Žirovnica community from ground up, it demonstrates a more advanced approach for map development. It also presents the required and popular computer software and its role in the process.
