Sekundarni povzetek: This diploma work provides an overview of the different types of screen maps, the advantages and disadvantages of screen maps in comparison to classic maps, printed on paper, along with various technology that is currently available for web-based map production. The practical part of the thesis presents the process of creating a vector web map of the city of Škofja Loka in ActionScript 3.0. The map is designed as an interactive map where all its thematic data is stored in a database. Because of this, users can add or change the content of the map and collaborate in the process of map making, which increases the temporal accuracy and thematical completeness of the map. The practical part also presents the software used in the production of the map.

Povzetek (ePrints): V diplomski nalogi so predstavljene različne vrste zaslonskih kart, obravnavane so prednosti in slabosti v primerjavi z klasičnimi kartami, tiskanimi na papir, hkrati pa je opisana tudi različna tehnologija, povezana z izdelavo spletnih kart. V praktičnem delu je predstavljen proces izdelave vektorske spletne karte mesta Škofja Loka v programskem okolju ActionScript 3.0. Karta je zasnovana kot interaktivna karta, kjer so vsi tematski podatki zapisani v podatkovni bazi. Uporabniki lahko dodajajo oz. spreminjajo vsebino karte, tako da pride do kolaboracije pri izdelavi karte, kar poveča ažurnost ter tematsko popolnost karte. V praktičnem delu je predstavljena tudi programska oprema, uporabljena za izdelavo karte.
