Secondary title: How pupils of the second triad of the primary school in Ljubljana region experience physical education
Secondary abstract: With this diploma thesis I wanted to research how students in second triad of primary schools in Ljubljana region experience physical education. In the first part I was trying to find out who is teaching this school subject and if pupils love it. Questions were also about which school subject is considered as the most important for their lives. In the second part I was trying to research what are pupils afraid of and what are the most popular sports in physical education. The last part included questions about implementation of minute for health and active break and if physical education is performed outside. 363 pupils were involved in the study; all of them were from second triad of primary schools located in Ljubljana region. Questionnaire were prepared in advance and then solved independently. 54,9 % of pupils are taught physical education by class teacher, and 43,2 % by gym teacher. 95,5 % of pupils involved in the study answered that they like physical education. Results show that physical education is the most popular school object among them, 46,9 % of pupils ranked this school subject on the first place, 22,4 % on the second place and 14 % on the third place. Math and Slovene are ranked on the first place as the most important school subjects for their future lives, physical education was ranked on the first place only by 13,9 % of pupils. 45,5 % of pupils answered that they are not afraid of anything at physical education on the other side 6,6 % of pupils answered that they are afraid of grades in physical education. 70 % of pupils choose dodgeball as the most popular sport, 45,5 % of them choose football and 41,9 % of them chose basketball. The questionnaires showed that only 14,6 % of pupils have an active break during their school time. Minute for health is performed only by 17,3 % of asked pupils. Even though that above mentioned activities are performed in low percentage, pupils would like to participate in both of them. One of the most positive result of my thesis is that physical education is also performed outside by 86,0 % of pupils.

Abstract (ePrints): Z diplomskim delom smo želeli ugotoviti, kako učenci drugega triletja osnovnih šol v ljubljanski regiji doživljajo športno vzgojo. Zanimalo nas je, kdo jih poučuje, ali imajo športno vzgojo radi, kateri šolski predmeti se jim zdijo pomembni za življenje, česa se bojijo in kateri športi so pri športni vzgoji najbolj priljubljeni. Želeli smo izvedeti, ali osnovne šole v ljubljanski regiji izvajajo minuto za zdravje in aktivni odmor in ali športno vzgojo izvajajo tudi zunaj. V raziskavo je bilo vključenih 363 učencev drugega triletja iz ljubljanskih osnovnih šol, ki so samostojno reševali vnaprej sestavljen vprašalnik. Ugotovili smo, da športno vzgojo v drugem triletju poučuje razredni učitelj, in sicer je tako pri kar 54,9 % učencev, 43,2 % učencev poučuje športni pedagog. Učenci imajo športno vzgojo radi, tako jih je namreč odgovorilo kar 95,5 %. Rezultati so pokazali, da je športna vzgoja eden izmed najbolj priljubljenih učnih predmetov. Na prvo mesto po priljubljenosti je jo je uvrstilo 46,9 % učencev, na drugo mesto 22,4 % in na tretje 14,0 % učencev. Po pomembnosti učnega predmeta za življenje so najvišje uvrstili matematiko in slovenščino, športno vzgojo pa je na prvo mesto po pomembnosti uvrstilo le 13,9 % učencev. Pri 45,5 % strah pri športni vzgoji ni prisoten, 6,6 % pa se jih ocenjevanja pri športni vzgoji boji. Najbolj priljubljen šport pri športni vzgoji je za 70,0 % vprašanih med dvema ognjema, za 45,5 % je to nogomet in za 41,9 % učencev košarka. V osnovnih šolah ima aktivni odmor le 14,6 % učencev, minuto za zdravje 17,3 %. Kljub temu, da se ti dve dejavnosti izvajata razmeroma malo, bi si ju učenci želeli imeti. Pozitivno za učence in tudi učitelja pa je, da športno vzgojo izvajajo tudi zunaj, in sicer je tako pri 86,0 % učencev.
