Humans are emotional beings. From day to day the modern world inspires emotions in us. A walk in the forest calms us, whereas hanging out in a pub invigorates and cheers us up. In most cases we are not aware of the visual effects, with which our surroundings effect our feelings and emotions (Starmer, A., 2010).
In school colors also have a big impact on our mood, readiness to work, keeping up with the class and our efficiency. My diploma thesis is divided into theoretical part, in which we have focused on the color theory, where we have described the general facts about colors, the importance of colors and their impact on our mood and feelings; an important part is dedicated to colors in the school area. In the empirical part we used a questioner to examine how specific colors influence teachers and pupils of the 4th and 6th grade primary school. We looked into which color is the most frequently used for the classrooms walls and which colors would the surveyed want. |

Ljudje smo čustvena bitja in sodobni svet čustva iz dneva v dan navdihuje v nas. Sprehod skozi gozd nas pomiri, medtem ko nas posedanje v kavarni poživi in razveseli. Večinoma pa se sploh ne zavedamo vizualnih učinkov, s katerimi okolica vpliva na naša občutja in čustva (Starmer, A., 2010).
Tudi v šoli imajo barve velik vpliv na naše počutje, pripravljenost za delo, sledenje pouku in našo učinkovitost. Diplomsko delo je razdeljeno na teoretični del, v katerem smo se posvetili teoriji barv, kjer smo opisali nekaj splošnega o barvah, pomenu barv in njihovem vplivu na naše počutje in občutke, pomemben del je posvečen barvam v šolskem prostoru. V empiričnem delu pa smo s pomočjo anketnega vprašalnika raziskali, kako določene barve vplivajo na učiteljice razrednega pouka in na učence 4. ter 5. razreda. Zanimalo nas je tudi, katera barva se najpogosteje uporablja za stene šolskih učilnic in katere barve bi si anketirani želeli. |
