Secondary title: The organization scheme of technology days in primary school
Secondary abstract: The theoretical part of this diploma deals with the presentation of technical days in Primary School. The very concept of a technical day, it's characteristics, objectives and recommended activities are defined. The entire planning, organization and implementation of the technical days from the first to the fifth grades is presented. As far as the empirical component is concerned, tests of knowledge were administered to the sample group of pupils from grades 4 and 5, and an interview was also carried out with them. On the basis of the collected data the teacher's professional and management competencies were assessed with regard to carrying out a technical day. Although, it was concluded that it is not necessary to have appropriate professional teacher training, it is however recommended. This is with regard to having background knowledge in the individualization of subject content and actual carrying out of the technical day. Progress in the cognitive knowledge of students was measured by the empirical method research approach. A test of knowledge was used here. The sample size consisted of 57 pupils. The results show that the level of pupil's cognitive knowledge are higher after completion of the technical activities than before they started. On the basis of this information, a new, improved, model of organization of technical days in grade 4 and 5 is presented, with the forecast that the cognitive knowledge are not only better but also at a higher quality with emphasis of higher cognitive levels of Bloom's taxonomy.

Abstract (ePrints): V teoretičnem delu so predstavljeni tehniški dnevi v devetletni osnovni šoli. Opredeljen je sam pojem in njegove značilnosti, cilji in predlogi vsebin. Opisan je celoten potek načrtovanja, organizacije in izvedbe tehniških dni od 1. do 5. razreda. V okviru empiričnega dela so bili razdeljeni testi znanja.
