Secondary title: Memory after brain injury
Secondary abstract: Over the past two decades, due to faster way of life and medical advances the number of people with brain injury has increased. Brain injury causes various effects that are either visible (physical limitations) or less visible (problems caused by deficits in cognitive domain). The consequences of brain injury can not be predicted, it can only be assumed. In some cases, the condition after brain injury improves even years after the accident, which is longer than the time of hospitalization in a hospital. Many authors (Powell, 2007; Rosenthal, 1989; Johnson, 2010; etc.). expose the problem of suspended aid after discharge from the hospital, so it is more than clear that people with head and brain injuries need support to learn how to recognize and understand their own problems, to teach them how to be independent in achieving their own goals. In my diploma project, I tried to answer the question how brain injury affects memory and which techniques or approaches can help people after brain injury to improve their memory skills.

Title (ePrints): Memory after brain injury
Keywords (ePrints): poškodba glave
Keywords (ePrints, secondary language): Head injury
Abstract (ePrints): V zadnjih dveh desetletjih se je, zaradi hitrejšega življenjskega tempa in napredka medicine, povečalo število oseb z nezgodno poškodbo možganov.
