The baseline presents the Law of the Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities, which entered into force in 2006, and its provisions relevant to the acquisition of rights to vocational rehabilitation. This is followed by the definition of the network of vocational rehabilitation within the network in 2005 and 2009 and display of running rehabilitation services with a single mode of treatment of an individual. Furthermore, it defines the success of cooperation of employers with providers of vocational rehabilitation and the so-called quota system. In the second part of the paper, data from various researches and databases are summarized, showing the past and current situation employment situation of blind and visually impaired persons, integration of vocational rehabilitation with the successful employment of the individual and its impact on an individual's quality of life. Abstract (ePrints): V diplomskem delu je obravnavan proces zaposlitvene rehabilitacije v Sloveniji in ocenjen njen vpliv na različna področja posameznikovega življenja. V nadaljevanju sta opredeljena uspešnost sodelovanja delodajalcev z izvajalci zaposlitvene rehabilitacije in t. i. kvotni sistem.
