Secondary abstract: |
In the thesis we summarized the findings, recommendations and guidelines, which help parents and professionals in choosing the appropriate toys for children with mental disabilities from the early childhood to the age of two. With this purpoise we present the findings, definitions of child games and toys of various authors and we also define the characteristics of games for children with intellectual disabilities. Furthermore, with the help of literature, we mention insights and information about the right approach adapted for children with intellectual disabilities, which parents, professionals and significant others can use. Adjustments include toys, potential positions of a child at play and the possibility of creating an environment suitable for playing. |

V diplomskem delu smo želeli strniti spoznanja, napotke in smernice, ki so v pomoč staršem in strokovnjakom pri izbiri primernih igrač za otroke z motnjo v duševnem razvoju v zgodnjem obdobju otroštva do drugega leta starosti. V ta namen smo najprej strnili spoznanja in definicije otroške igre in igrač različnih avtorjev ter opredelili značilnosti igre otrok z motnjami v duševnem razvoju. Nadalje s pomočjo literature navajamo spoznanja in informacije o tem, kaj lahko starši in strokovnjaki ter pomembni drugi storijo, da igro na pravilen način približajo, prilagodijo otrokom z motnjami v duševnem razvoju. Prilagoditve zajemajo tako igrače, kot igralno okolje, možnosti položajev otroka pri igri ter možnosti ustvarjanja primernih igralnih okolij. |
